Ok, you are looking for a 'Big Number' watch to ease the strain on your tired eyes, so did I......but this cheap made in china product doesn't make it so easy to figure out what you are looking at....it, like most products these days, emphasizes style rather than utility, ie for example you may in not so good light see either a 7 or 1, and the 't' from tu/th is quite invisible in the day/date display, etc.It is, in other words, badly designed.The design and material quality of many Casio products is disappointing........just read the many negative feedbacks re watchstrap reliability!

This Casio Men's Dress watch #AQ230A7D is one of Casio's first ana-digi watches, and has several functions, including a dual-time feature.I had worn this watch after college as my first business watch ca. 1981.It lasted for years and years, and then went missing.I spotted it recently at a mall kiosk, where they offered it for $60.00.I couldn't help but buy it here for about $19.00!The watch is still simple, elegant, lightweight and slim.Most new ana-digi watches have giant cases that stand high off the wrist.This watch is thinner than my expensive Rado.The watch weighs next to nothing.The band on this watch is also easily adjustable, without anything more than a gentle screwdriver to pop up a clamp on the back side of the bracelet lock.There are no links to remove.I always wished the watch had a backlight, but Casio wasn't building them that way in the 1980s.This watch also comes with a black face.I bought both.

Casio Men's AW81-1A2V Ana-Digi 10-Year Battery Watch Review

The watch was great value and pretty stylish. I'm not planning on using the databank feature much as that's what cell phones are for these days but I do use world time occasionally and the count down timer is also.

After owning a few metal link band watches I had to bite the bullet and go back to a rubber strap to fit my skinny wrist better and it's the best move I've made.

The main downside of this watch is the useless LED backlighting. Remember thos eold watches your Dad used to have with the litlle ligh on the side that never illuminted anything. This is the same thing. Contrary to what some others have said the light is not bright enough to even light the analogue face let alone the digital.

Why anyone would go back to this old technology after the brilliant invention of electroluminesence is crazy, but it's a mistake Casio made with a few of their latest range.

Casio Men's F28W-1 Classic Digital Watch Review

The one reservation is that the plastic and the strap fall apart after a while.So splendid is the watch, however, that I'm forever tempted to preserve the thing somehow, perhaps by encapsulation or making a nice metal bezel to hold a good strap onto it.My experience is that one watch is good for two strap replacements, though it's a bit of an exercise to get the pins out.

The major advantages: It shows the day of the week, the date, the hours, minutes, and seconds.And that is _all_ it shows.No alarms to surprise you, and no stopwatches.There is no joy like that of finding out that instead of local time, the '1:33' you see displayed on your watch's dial means that you accidentally started the stopwatch an hour and 33 minutes before.

The only 'accessory' is that you can set the thing to read on 24-hour time, which is necessary in some applications.The watch is very light, very cheap, very accurate, and I believe the battery lasts approximately forever.There's no back-light, but that's why the battery lasts a long time.

The only other difficulty is availability: Wal-mart--and, obviously, Amazon.com--sell 'em, but at about ten bucks each, they're not high-profit items.

Casio Men's F201WA-1A Multi-Function Alarm Sports Watch Review

Being left handed I wear this watch on my right hand.Problem.When I tilt my hand up at the wrist the buttons on that side of the watch get pressed and it goes into unpredictable settings or modes. I look down to see the time and I'm looking at an alarm mode, or the stopwatch.The buttons on the other side work the light or only work when some change mode has been entered.So on the left hand those buttons don't change the display.On the right hand it is amazingly easy to hit these buttons with a tilted wrist.Too bad, since it is otherwise a great watch.Has an amazing number of features for an inexpensive watch, keeps great time, and the buttons work really well (ask me how I know).So if you can wear it on the left hand you should be very pleased.On the right hand, not so much.Unless you keep your right hand flat all day.Get the F-28W if you are a right arm wearer.Its does not have all the features, nor the buttons, but it is just as reliable, inexpensive, and indestructible.

Casio Men's A168W-1 Electro Luminescence Digital Bracelet Watch Review

This is your bare-bones basic electronic watch. Nothing particularly fancy, not a lot of whistles and bells - just what I was looking for. That being said, this is my second purchase of this particular watch. I bought the first one 6-7 years ago back when I was in construction. I wanted a nicer looking watch with a metal band that would look nicer when dressed up, but I prefer the digital ones because they keep perfect time. I literally wore the old watch out - my fault, not Casios - and have now purchased it again. The new one is just like the old one. It keeps flawless time, looks really nice, and was so inexpensive.

I simply wanted a nice looking digital watch that had a nice slim profile and kept excellent time. I didn't care for all the other fancy frills or features, all I want a watch to do is keep time.I hope this watch is available in another ten years (I no longer do construction) so I can replace this one when it wears out.Maybe I'll just go ahead and purchase another one now just in case.

Casio Men's Dress watch #A168WG9 Review

The style of the watch is great. Not for everybody but perfect for some, like me. It gets some laughs because it is gold (in color) but just a basic casio digital. Its kind of a gag but very stylish to me. You will probably be the only person you know wearing one of these. I particularly like the flat gold colored plastic face, which is a nice subtle contrast with the shiny golden metal. In the 10 or 12 months that I have been wearing it the time has never wavered. The full-screen blue backlight is nice looking and fun, but it stopped working shortly after I got it, then suddenly started working again briefly, and now never works. (still keeping time perfectly though) I bought it here on Amazon, but it is not stocked by Amazon. I think these ones for sale are old stock, with batteries running all the while. ...Also, having not been very careful and washing my hands often at work, the watch has tarnished on many of the edges. I havent looked closely, but it appears irreversable. Still, this is my favorite watch ever, and I'm about to buy another. I thought I would alternate with the casio calculator watch I bought around the same time, but my habit quickly became wearing this gold one all the time.

Casio Men's W71-1V Classic Digital Watch Review

I've been wearing this watch since high school (over 15 years ago).I bought it for track so I could pace my practices.I can't find any watch out there that has the countdown feature that repeats, so I can set it to ding at me every 3 minutes or 2 hours or whatever.I love the digital - it's easy to read in a pinch.And I'm not really aware of time, so the hourly alarm really helps me keep track.I do agree that it is not the most attractive watch - especially for a female, but I just can't get enough of this light-weight, easy to use watch.I've had probably 5 of this exact watch.I lost my last two and I've worn out the rest.I try to wear other watches.. analog, silver, gold... that are more fashionable, but I just can't break away from this watch.I was heartbroken when Target stopped selling it, and elated when I found it on the web.I'm excited to know it's a 20 year old design... that way I can be confident that it will be around for a while.If not, I'd buy 50 more so I could make sure I always had one!That's how much I LOVE this watch... I just ordered it off this site after being without it for a year (did I mention Target?) and I cannot wait for it to arrive!!I should have bought 2...
