I had been looking for a watch for my sister for some time because she has a large wrist. This band gives her wiggle room and she can see it clearly at work. Thanks Amazon.
There are no instructions on how to adjust the metal band. The band is ridiculuously large.
This watch keeps accurate time, is comfortable to wear, and looks good. What more can you ask for?
This watch looks nice in the photo online, but the reality is that this watch looks very different physically, it is not as attractive as I saw it online. It is not what I have expected by just seeing it on Amazon. Many of the details does not match. I learned that the next time I better go to a store to see it before I buy it online.
Let the buyer beware because this seller (Ibiz Online) is trying to rip you off. Search for this watch and you will find out what it really lists for. Amazon.com shows this watch lists for $34.95 and will sell it for $22.99.
This watch is fabulous is very precise and elegant it presents/displays a classic and modern design combined between with very good finished.
I've had this watch for a few weeks now.I really like the looks of the watch and the bracelet has an excellent clasp more like those found on much more expensive watches. Documentation is typical of most Casio watches, very tiny letters in lots of languages, complete, and uninspired. Everything on the display is crisp and clear, but those with older eyes should take notice that the analog dial, the place where you actually read the time is rather small and for me requires concentration. My work around is to set the World Time Zone to my local time and then read the time from the digital numbers at the bottom of the screen.This replaces the date but makes the time easily readable for me without having to look over my glasses. Also, after a few weeks of office wear the crystal shows no sign of scratches.
Product specifications for this watch indicate it is resistant to 50M. I ordered this watch and found that the manual shows that this watch is ONLY water resistant. When I went to return this watch, I found that I would only recieve a refund of $5, less $9 for shipping, making this watch a $4 watch. I gave it to my 4 yr old. It was not worth returning.
My husband bought this for me for Christmas. I love it pretty and functional. There aren't many options for watches that are a little dressy with a light. I needed a light. I just wish it had numbers so I didn't have to think about what time it is. There aren't any fancy watches with numbers and a light.
Recently got this watch for a gift and was very pleased for it is a quality watch at a fair price, also the recipient liked it very much and wears it daily.

The actual watch itself looks better than the photo.The finish is actually chrome (picture make it look like it's satin finish).It looks so nice I don't think anyone would suspect it's less than $30.I own a costly Gucci watch, but really wanted an everyday watch that wouldn't kill me if I lost it.I originally thought that it was solar and the description kind of suggested this, but it is not.I found on another website that states that the estimated battery life is 3 years.
This watch is extremely large. I read the review that said it was big, but was still surprised. It's easily as large as a man's watch and, although it looks nice, the size negates the beauty. I'd love to have the same watch in a woman's size.
For years I've been wearing different types of watches. This watch I'm getting attach to. I work in a hot enviroment where I'm sweating, I don't get irritated like the others use to do me. And the sweat don't bother the watch either. The color is awesome. I just love it.Susan
I do agree with the previous review - up close, the watch looks somewhat cheap.But, I bet most people would guess I paid more for it than I did.Only the buttons and case-back "lining" are resin.Everything else is metal, which makes for a fairly heavy watch and good deal in this price-range.My only complaint is that removing links from the band to fit my wrist was very difficult.
This Casio Men's Dress watch #AQ230A7D is one of Casio's first ana-digi watches, and has several functions, including a dual-time feature.I had worn this watch after college as my first business watch ca. 1981.It lasted for years and years, and then went missing.I spotted it recently at a mall kiosk, where they offered it for $60.00.I couldn't help but buy it here for about $19.00!The watch is still simple, elegant, lightweight and slim.Most new ana-digi watches have giant cases that stand high off the wrist.This watch is thinner than my expensive Rado.The watch weighs next to nothing.The band on this watch is also easily adjustable, without anything more than a gentle screwdriver to pop up a clamp on the back side of the bracelet lock.There are no links to remove.I always wished the watch had a backlight, but Casio wasn't building them that way in the 1980s.This watch also comes with a black face.I bought both.
The whole watch is pink. I should have paid more attention to the description, I guess. The alternate view pics that amazon offers looked white (they're probably a different model) and I couldn't really tell from the pic where the watch faces you. It was a gift, but my mom had to send it back. :-(The band is a light pink color. Also, the face is a little smaller than I wanted because I was looking for something big and cool. I would have kept it, though, if the band hadn't been pink.
Wife chose watch and is happy with it.Looks good.Main purpose was for work where she wanted a countdown timer/ alarm.
I am a big fan of casio digital watches. I purchased 3 over a five year period. They are tough and last a long long time. I am very rough on watches and the worst thing that ever happened was the silver electroplating wore down to the brass finish underneath. This brings me to my current purchase -- it is perfect, easy to set up and I love the big illuminator bar ("light") under the function keys. The only caveat is that the digital read out is smaller, and if you have a bigger wrist or like to wear it loose -- it will need to be adjusted by a jeweler. Will update my post as to case wear and tear, otherwise I am delighted!
This is a good, solid product with many features such as chronograph, alarm and 200 meters water resistant for which other manufacturers charge a lot more. I did qute a bit of research and did not see anyhing with the same features comparable in price.
