Casio Women's LCF20-9 Ana-Digi Retro Square Sports Watch Review

I was looking for a fun watch to wear to work and also for working out. Easy to use once you read the instructions. Stop watch, Countdown Timer (minute intervals only), Time Zones and an analog clock. I personally can't read the analog b/c its so small but it serves fashion well. I like the world clock function so when I travel I can just select the new time zone rather than manually change the time.

Casio Women's BG1302-4 Baby-G Urban Style Jelly Watch Review

Bought this one for my wife. She can't seem to buy a watch that lasts over a year for her. I only buy Casio because they about never fail to last forever. I about have to take a hammer to mine to make an excuse to buy a new one. I have 3 casios that I trade off.

Anyway, the problem with Casio is they are a man's thing. They don't make eligent women's watches so my wife wouldn't buy one. I bought this one for her because like other G watches it is probably indestructable and I hoped she would be OK with its size and appearance. Well it looks OK and she seems to like the appearance well enough to wear it. She works hard and has her hands in water alot and likes not having to worry about getting the watch wet. Additionally, the watch has great features including the timer function. None of mine have that and I wish they did.

She hasn't had it long enough to see how long it will last for her, but I imagine it will last until she decides to take a hammer to it!

Here are my only gripes with her watch, which don't bother her at all. The display is a little bit light. Its readable enough, but the contrast is not nearly as good as other Casios I've seen. This is not a big problem, though, and this characteristic might enhance the battery life, which leads me to my final comment...

Casio women's watches only have an expected battery life of 2 or 3 years (or at least the ones that I've seen). Men's Casios are 5 to 10 years, and of course if you buy a solar rechargable one, I guess theoretically the battery could last a life time. Why can't they make women's watches with a battery life of 5 to 10 years.

Oh well, this Baby-G battery is good for 3 years, which is a least 3 times longer than my wife has ever had a watch to even run. Besides, I can just replace to battery if it dies before the watch!

Oh, I forgot, the accuracy on my wife's watch is actually better than the guaranteed accuracy of +-15 seconds per month. It runs about 11 seconds slow per month, which is just a little over 2 minutes per year. That's pretty good.

Casio #LA200WSG-9A Women's Futurist Chronograph Alarm LCD Watch Review

I am a big fan of casio digital watches. I purchased 3 over a five year period. They are tough and last a long long time. I am very rough on watches and the worst thing that ever happened was the silver electroplating wore down to the brass finish underneath. This brings me to my current purchase -- it is perfect, easy to set up and I love the big illuminator bar ("light") under the function keys. The only caveat is that the digital read out is smaller, and if you have a bigger wrist or like to wear it loose -- it will need to be adjusted by a jeweler. Will update my post as to case wear and tear, otherwise I am delighted!

this is an epic watch! the color is different in person than the picture but its still amazing its more of a ligher but brighter yellow. yellow is my absolute favorite color so i couldn't go wrong. it does tend to get scratches easliy on the silver part but overall it will be alright they are not deep they are little but light ones. i get so many compliments on it :) i would recommend this to anyone. and it did come earlier than it was supposed to, it came 2 days before the planned date so i was happy!

Casio Women's LDF20-4AV Digital Pink Resin Strap Watch Review

This watch is a real gem at this price point.Has a lovely "world time" feature where you can click through and see times for major cities world wide once you set your own "home time" on the main menu.It even takes into account daylight savings!No more trying to figure out what time it is over in Milan-- click, click, click! easy as pie! As the home time is on a separate menu than the world time this makes a perfect travel watch.
The first reviewer mentioned she had trouble with the size of the displayed numbers-- I didn't have a problem with that, but, for your own reference, I've measured as follows: the actual "time numbers" on the display are 1.5x0.5cm; the whole display area (the pink square interior to the metal border)is 2x2cm.
I'm docking one star in my rating for the tendency of the watch band to pick up grime; this is especially noticeable with newsprint.It does wash off with soap in water, though; so it isn't a deal breaker.Also, I wonder at the design logic of making the second count so large in the middle of the display and, thus, crowding the actual time at the top.

Casio Women's LCF20-1 Ana-Digi Retro Square Sports Watch Review

The watch is nice, but.... the display in the picture is easily visible, whereas in reality the display is dim and the watch light does not illuminate much.Also, the programming is complicated and I don't want to have to refer to the manual whenever I want to use one of the functions.In addition, with all the activity that the display has going on, I fear (perhaps unfounded, I don't know) that the battery will not last long.It's a nice watch, but there are other watches at amazon.com that I feel will be better worth the money.I'm returning it and picking out a different one.
