Casio Men's DB360-1AV Digital Databank Watch Review

I've been wearing the watch for about a month now, and it does work very well. A couple of notes aren't well disclosed, however:

- When I bought the watch, I assumed it was an all-metal construction, the pictures make it look like the bezel and the band are both stainless steel. In fact, the band is stainless, but the bezel is a somewhat cheap-looking chromed plastic. Not quite what I had in mind, but you get what you pay for.

- It is far too easy to switch into and out of daylight savings mode - Just holding down one of the buttons for a little over a second switches between them and automatically takes an hour off (or puts one back on) your time...This freaked me out a couple of times until I figured out what was happening.

Overall, a pretty good watch, but it isn't necessarily exactly what it looks.

Casio Men's Alarm Chronograph Digital Sport Watch #W96H-1AV Review

This is a very nice watch. Large (about 7mm), easy to read time digits. 10 year battery. Date, day of the week and seconds always displayed. Backlight. And accurate to boot! An entirely satisfactory, basic, economical digital watch.

So then why only 3 stars?

The watchband. Its made of plastic (Casio calls it "resin"). Mine broke after a year and a half. The constant flexing back and forth just causes the plastic to "tear" at the point where it bends.

The watch has non-standard fittings for its band. The only way to replace the band is to buy an identical one from Casio. And that costs almost as much as the watch! Granted, that's not very much and you could almost look at this watch as a disposable, but it irks me that it looks like it could keep on going for years but for the cheesy band.

I think I'll go for one with a metal band next time.

Casio Men's AW80V-1BV World Time Ana-Digi Data Bank 10-Year-Battery Watch Review

For quality of construction, features and look, it deserves 5 stars at this price. But unfortunately, Casio has put the glass (or plastic) cover on top surface of the watch and it is very easy to get scratched. Mine got scratched second day (just from a door). Timex usually put the glass slightly below the surface so that it doesn't get scratched easily. This scratch problem made me take 2 stars away from rating.

Casio Men's MQ24-7E Classic Analog Watch Review

I had a watch like this a couple of years back and it was my favourite watch, unfortunately I lost it, but I loved it so much that I just had to buy it again. I have to agree with the previous reviewer, this really IS "the most refined, well designed watch on the face of the planet", so elegant that you forget that it, after all, is a plastic watch, not a Rolex. So light that you wont notice it's there, and stylish enough to fit even the most expensive business attire. A classic for sure, and never mind that there aren't any numbers on the dial, or no date, or no alarm, or no backlight. I just love this watch, simply because it really is a statement of good taste, and no one will ever guess it coast you less than 10 dollars.

Casio Men's FE10-1A Classic Digital Watch Review

I bought this because it looked nice and was priced nice.However, it has one major flaw which drives me crazy-- the buttons on the side are *very* easy to push in, so much so that I am constantly bumping into them and changing the mode, time/date screen, etc. It'll do for now, but I'll get another kind of watch when this one goes.

Casio Men's DB36-1AV Multilingual Databank Watch Review

I just got my Casio watch today.The manual was fairly thick which was mostly translations in a lot of languages.I decided to forgo the manual and see if I could figure out how to set the watch without it.With little effort, I was easily able to figure everything out and set all the functions without any difficulty.The watch has all of it's setting functions labeled on the watch itself.They are named under the glass crystal or impressed in the watch itself or it's buttons.This makes setting this watch really easy.Buttons even included backward and forward buttons which made it easy to go back if you over-shot the date or time going forward.The watch is small compared to my old watch (a G-Shock which is a good watch but now needs a battery after maybe 5 years).I like the small profile and design of this watch a lot.It's water resistant to a depth of 50 feet and has an LED back light. It's an inexpensive watch but with a 10 year battery, I'll probably loose it before I ever wear out the battery.

Casio Men's A168W-1 Electro Luminescence Digital Bracelet Watch Review

This is your bare-bones basic electronic watch. Nothing particularly fancy, not a lot of whistles and bells - just what I was looking for. That being said, this is my second purchase of this particular watch. I bought the first one 6-7 years ago back when I was in construction. I wanted a nicer looking watch with a metal band that would look nicer when dressed up, but I prefer the digital ones because they keep perfect time. I literally wore the old watch out - my fault, not Casios - and have now purchased it again. The new one is just like the old one. It keeps flawless time, looks really nice, and was so inexpensive.

I simply wanted a nice looking digital watch that had a nice slim profile and kept excellent time. I didn't care for all the other fancy frills or features, all I want a watch to do is keep time.I hope this watch is available in another ten years (I no longer do construction) so I can replace this one when it wears out.Maybe I'll just go ahead and purchase another one now just in case.

Casio Men's MQ24-7B Analog Black Resin Strap Watch Review

It is hard to distinguish a significant difference between this watch and the Casio - MQ247B2 which is fifty cents cheaper, but apparently this one might have a better crystal and band. In any case I replace the band with woven cloth as soon as possible because of irrtitation from sweat.

This is definitely the watch to get, once you replace the band. It is clearly visible under nearly any situation and surely beats a digital.

Find out how much shipping will cost. It coudl raise the price fifty per cent. Find out whether they will ship to your address. If it is overseas or a POB (or even AP) they may not. But this is the watch to go for rather than any other. If you need a calendar as well, put one on your wall or buy a newspaper. When you need to know the time, you can count on this watch to clearly provide the information you seek.
