Casio Men's VQ201HSGA-2AV Waveceptor Atomic Watch Review

I bought my first Wave Ceptor several years ago.I got a good deal on it but the plastic band broke about a year ago and it is designed so it could not be replaced unless you sent it back to Casio.I learned from that one.These watches keep perfect time and this band is REPLACABLE.The looks of this watch are terrific with the gold ring around the blue field.Yes, it only has the day displayed, but if you become familiar with the buttons, you can find all of the other information.Besides, if you don't know the month and the year, you need more help then this watch can give you.This is a great deal on this watch. Almost half price.I am happy.

Casio Illuminator Chronograph Alarm Watch Model W-101-1AV Review

I wear this watch when I work.I do physical activities such as lifting and I'm constantly using my hands. So far (about 2 months) this watch has held up quite nicely.There's some scratches but that's to be expected and I don't really care because it was so inexpensive.

As far as looks.. The circular seconds display thing is kinda gimmicky but overall, imo, the watch has a nice look it.The time is very easy to read and when it's dark, the "illuminator" light works well.It's also so easy to set that the manual is hardly needed.

The only qualm I have with this watch is that the securer for the band somtimes comes off.. but I suppose that's just a function of me wearing it at work where I'm so active.

Casio Men's HDA600-7BV Analog Sport Watch Review

I purchased this watch because it was cheap compared to the G-Shock series and I thought it looked good without being too bulky. After a 3-4 monthsof daily use I found that the little round metal time winder on the side of the watch was popped out of place. No matter how much I try to jam it back into place, it would constantly pop back out, causing the time to be displayed inaccurately or just causing the watch to not function altogether.

Casio HS8VA 0CALCULATOR BASIC 8 DIGIT Review

I got this calculator at Big Lots for a quarter of the price on here. I got it because it was cheaper to buy a new calculator than to by a new battery for my old basic 8-digit calculator. It seems to work for what I need it to do: balancing my checkbook, conversions in the pharmacy, etc. It has some advanced functions: memory, +/-, square root and a key to add a percentage. 120 [MU] 25 [%] = 160 The reason I took off one star is there is no case or cover, so I have to very careful when I carry it in my purse or pocket. My old one had a hard case it slid in and out of to protect the display from damage. Also there is no off button, I have not really monitored it to see how long it stays on inactive (package says around 8 minutes). also waiting to see battery life, package claims 3 years at one hour of daily use. A pretty decent deal, but shop around.

I needed a watch with a stopwatch built in to help me keep track of my times. I'm running a half-marathon in December. This watch has been fabulous!! I love the color and the features that are built into the watch. I have a 16 month old niece and everytime she sees it I have to put it on her. G-Shock Men's Watch G-Shock Mudman G-9010-1DR - WW Review

First of all, let me tell you I am not a big digital watch fan. This is my first ever G-Shock and so far no regrets.
About this model:
The model number is G-9010-1. Its good to know it is not GW-9010-1. The difference of letter 'W' means this is not atomic. But it is solar powered.
In fact I didnt know this fact till the watch arrived (you can realize how G-Shock naive I am!). I was sort of disappointed initially but I liked the watch so much that decided to keep it. It has 48 cities and 29 world time zones and accuracy of +/- 15 seconds a month which is good enough for me (I dont see a reason to have atomic accuracy unless you are planning to launch a space mission or just a nerd).
You can read the manual online for full features. Google "Casio 3153"
If you want manual of the atomic version of the watch (GW-9010-1), its 3150. There is a youtube video review available for the atomic version. Other than the atomic sync, rest of the features are the same.

Pros:
-Good looking watch among other G-Shocks (though its just a personal opinion), very symmetrical.
-One of the few solar powered G-Shocks which displays time, day and month/date; no need to press any button to see all three. Good for me because at work I have to write all these three facts very often
-Solar-powered
-Light weight. Its not very big either
-Apparently very tough- haven't tested it yet

Cons:
None yet

Features I am not a big fan of:
-Buttons can be hard to press. This can be annoying if you will use the rally function (which I still need to figure out). Personally I dont see this a big disadvantage
-Auto light function sounds cool but didnt find very useful. So the display illuminates if you tilt the watch about 15degrees from horizontal. Its easy to do when the watch is not on your wrist. But when you are wearing it and standing, it can be pretty difficult to twist your wrist at desired angle to illuminate the display. Off course there are various options, you can switch it off. In dark u press a button and it lights up, you can set up how long u want it to illuminate etc.About buying experience:
Bought from the seller Watch Colony. It was about 90 bucks, new. Ordered on Saturday with free shipping option, arrived from Texas on Thursday. So very happy. The watch was not in a metallic box (like showed in above youtube video), that was a disappointment. But still five stars to the seller for fast delivery and excellent condition.

Casio Women's MSG161C-1V Baby-G G-MS Sweet Poison Watch Review

The watch is prettier in person than on the site.The stainless/black/pale pink color combo makes it feel modern and cool, while the hint of pink on the face makes it just feminine enough.I have to agree with the other reviews about the fact that the time can be difficult to see from certain angles.The numbers are silvery against a frosty pink background, so the effect is a bit like looking at a message written on your bathroom mirror after it gets all fogged up by your hot shower.Very cool, but just like a message on a mirror, it can be a bit hard to see unless your eyes are looking at it pretty much straight on.For me, the effect is worth having to tilt my wrist to the right angle, but not everyone will think so. The watch is also a good size for me (I'm on the tall side, and some women's watches are just too dainty, but men's are too clunky). This watch is replacing an old casio Baby-G Shock that I had for years and never gave me trouble.So I went with the same brand again.

Happy with this watch despite the photos making itlook like the body was a satin finish, it's actually very shiny. I prefer a brushed or satin metal finish, but it still looks good and sits well on my wrist. The buckle on the strap has two(2) tounges instead of the normal, one(1)

This watch is awsome. It has 5 alarms, stopwatch, automatic calendar, timer, light, and is waterproof. What more could you ask for. It feels very sturdy and is definately no cheap Drug store watch. I have owned 3 to 4 hundred dollar watches and this one takes the cake. Simple yet sophisticated design, comfortable, and less than 75 bucks shipped express. There is no better deal out there, I've searched. All in all this is no TAG but for the money it blows away all the other watches in this price range and even more expensive ones. it is a little hard to see the time when there's not enough lights. but the hot pink back light is the coolest part of this watch.

Casio Men's Wave Ceptor watch #WVQ550SGA-1AV Review

I bought this watch because it looks great and gets the time updates from Fort Collins, Colorado. The watch is heavier and bigger then some watches I own so if this bothers you beware.

I initially had trouble getting the time update from Fort Collins using the manual update feature. Finally I was able to get the signal at night using this feature. I have another atomic watch which had no trouble getting the update during the day. It does get the signal updates each night and the watch keeps perfect time.

The gold bezel is easily scratched so you need to be careful. In the picture you may think there is some gold in the band. This is an optical illusion. The band is all silver. The minute markers between the large five minute markers are hard to see on the dial. I usually can tell the time from the position of the hands. I don't use the stop watch feature or the alarm but I have tried each to make sure they were working. If you plan on using the stop watch beware that the hand to show the minutes passed is hard to read.

The watch feels solid and of good quality.

Ok, you are looking for a 'Big Number' watch to ease the strain on your tired eyes, so did I......but this cheap made in china product doesn't make it so easy to figure out what you are looking at....it, like most products these days, emphasizes style rather than utility, ie for example you may in not so good light see either a 7 or 1, and the 't' from tu/th is quite invisible in the day/date display, etc.It is, in other words, badly designed.The design and material quality of many Casio products is disappointing........just read the many negative feedbacks re watchstrap reliability!

CASIO MQ27-1B Men's Dress Watch Review

In brief, I didn't research enough before making this purchase.The picture looked like a low-grade leather band, but there was no mention of its composition in the description.It's actually a plastic band.I give it three stars because it really is mediocre.I plan on replacing the band with leather, when I can find one suitably sized.I do like the watch style, otherwise.It's small and not flashy, just the way I like it.Remember, as always, you get what you pay for.

Casio Men's VA104HDA-7AV Ana-Digi Atomic Watch Review

I bought this watch because of the larger LCD display panel- hoping it would be easier to read the date than the models with a smaller LCD panel. Alas- while the display panel is bigger than most, it is used to display two lines of data. For example: Hours and minutes on the top line and seconds on the second line. The top line characters are about 3mm high, while the second line has about 2mm characters- making reading no easier than most other display types. The display is certainly not as sharp and clear as shown in the picture. The face is silver color and the hands are chrome making the reading a bit difficult in some light conditions. The hands are not luminous but rather cut away where other watches usually have a luminous band. The full face lights up with a greenish light that stays on just two seconds. The hands show well with this light, but the LCD display is not as well illuminated. There is no sweep second hand, but you can display seconds as one option on the LCD panel. The minute hand steps ahead by 1/3 minute every 20 seconds. The outer perimeter of the dial is ringed with a silver plastic ring that contains minute markings and grey triangles at each five minute point. This rather cheap looking ring does not rotate.
The watch is 13mm thick (about 1/2 inch) and 43mm(1 11/16")wide. The band appears to be well made and sturdy but I havent worn it to assess long term durability.
In use, the watch sync'd easily from Connecticut. You can set your home city time zone to control the analog hands and a second time zone on the LCD panel. Changing the home city designation causesthe hands to power themselves around to the proper time- Impressive! The watch is battery powered with a claimed two year battery life. It has five alarms including a snooze and a count down alarm and a icon to show signal strength. The watch uses Module 2735 and you can download the instruction sheet at Casio.com under that number. All in all it's a lot of technology for the money, but I think there are better looking Casio watches available.

This is a very lightweight, simple watch. Easy to read, accurate, and it has that so very useful rotating bezel for tracking minutes.

The glow in the dark hands are very bright, but the hour indicators, despite their style and color, do not glow in the dark.I'd take off half a star for that, but since it isn't an option and the watch is so very inexpensive, it deserves a half star bonus, anyway.

When mine came, it was already set to the correct time to the second (checked against the broadcast signal of the national atomic clock). I was impressed.

Having owned two previous G-Shocks in my life (including the first series in 1984), I've long appreciated their quality.The main reason I stopped wearing them was simply because the resin straps would break, and having worn them for 4 years I grew weary of them.However, having burned through many fashion watches in the last 10 years I've been disappointed to spend $$$ only to get 1 or 2 years' worth of usage.So I'm back to G-Shock.I think this model (G1710D-7AV) represents a nice blend between good looks and practical durability...which most guys really want.The face is smaller on my wrist than I expected from a G-Shock, but I think it's still classy for the office.The side buttons are hidden in gray plastic (which you can't see in picture), but the rest of the watch is metal.You might find a classier analog-face G-Shock in the $200 - $300, but this one is a better value!The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the LED isn't backlight.It's an amber light that comes around the inside bevel.So the LED helps you read the dial hands, but not the LCD screens.Nonetheless, it's still a cool light color.PS- the bottom LCD screen isn't blue as pictured, but it's still a different color than the top LCD which adds further distinction to the watch.

Casio General Ladies Watches Metal Fashion LTP-1191A-2CDF - WW Review

I have a Casio watch very similar to this one and three years of swimming with it on and all sorts and it's still working perfectly. Don't let Casio's low prices fool you into thinking it reflects on the quality of their products cos they've all been great!

This model in particular arrived today and I have to say that the photo does not do it justice at all! The face is really pretty with mother of pearl combined with its fading from purple to white effect. Another plus is that the links are quite small, and can easily be adjusted to everyones wrist size.

A fantastic buy!

Customers from Europe please be weary of TAX and VAT charges, I had to pay 60 euros on 6 watches bought from the same seller when they were delivered this morning....
