I looked for quite a long time before I settled on this watch. Because I seem to have a knack for scratching the crystal lens of my watches, the recessed lens on this watch is just perfect for keeping itself out of harms way. I've already run into a few door jams with this watch, and I can't even tell that I hit the door jam...very nice.All functions operate as advertised, and do their job. However, I would prefer that the digital portion show the day of the week AND the date, as the Casio Wave Receptor (WVA-105H) does in its digital section.
The alarm volume is hardly alarm worthy. Its very quite, sounding much like the hourly beep intervals. So, if you looking for a watch that will wake you up, this one won't do it, despite the G-shock name that implies ruggedness.
The wrist band is adjustable on both sides and is very comfortable. I've had yet to have any hairs pulled. Whether I'm at work or on my dirt bike, this watch is comfortable, and gets the job done of letting me know what time it is.
