I've used this watch for more than 20 years, and it fits my needs quite well.I am old enough (56) to prefer an analog face; this one has excellent visibility because of the high contrast between dial and hands, so I can sneak a quick glance without appearing rude. (And it's nice to have the day and date in the little digital window.) I don't need an altimeter, food processor, and phases of the moon on my watch, nor does my wrist need to make a statement about who I am.It's decent looking enough that I wear it in all but the most formal settings.
When we're in a dark theater, my partner with the expensive watch is always making me light up the dial on my watch to see the time!
I also like water resistance and a fair amount of durability, since I'm forgetful and unkind to watches. If I were to destroy it, it's cheap to replace. When the clear plastic face gets light scratches, I buff it with toothpaste.After 10 years, my first one of these bit the dust (the strap gave out), but I was delighted to discover it still being sold on Amazon.
