Overall, I am pleased with this watch.Nice styling, seems to be solidly constructed etc.It functions very well; I'vee had no problems at all with syncing with atomic clock (in New Mexico).Most functions are intuitive, though I had to spend a few minutes with the manual.Dual time function is good if you have to keep track of a second zone.Very comfortable, high quality flexible rubber strap, easy to read glowing hands, very cool LED backlight.

The only "con" is that it takes a while to move to some modes, especially Alarm and Dual time.The hands need to go forward or back to time of the setting, which can take a while. I'd also like to see a solar powered version, as I worry about battery life a little, with the hands having to move so much.

OK watch, I bought it because it was cheap and had a 10 year battery. Be careful, the crystal is raised (retarded design) and it's permanently scratched now. I may throw it away as it's hard to read anyway (small display).

Casio Men's WVQ142DA-2AV Waveceptor Atomic Silver-Tone Watch Review

I collect high quality mechanical watches but occasionally buy a quartz watch just to wear for knocking about when a good one might get damaged. Since I had never had an "atomic" watch, I thought I'd try this "entry level" one. First, it came with a Xeroxed user's manual that was for a completely different model altogether, where none of the buttons did the same thing at all. It took quite a search to locate a pdf file of the correct manual. I have now had the watch for almost a week, and it is still five minutes fast by "real atomic clock" time even though I've left it in a sunny window at least half the time. My advice: buy a more expensive model.
