I am an advid g-shock fan, had many models for 15 years and loved them all. None ever wore out, I just got tired of them and upgraded. I have had an atomic solar since they first came out about 10 years ago. However this watch is just a failure on the part of Casio. Yes it works, syncs with the calibration signal, but it ends there. The issue is it doesn't matter if it can keep track of time because you can't read it !! In daylight the date and second fields are so black you can barely read them, if there is not enough light they are dark and if there is too much light they are saturated. The manual even says how difficult they can be to read in too bright of light ! Then at night, it is useless ! The date and second fields are not backlighted at all, so you can't read them at all. Then the LED light is located at the bottom of the face and shines upward, just creating a glare on all the metallic parts of the watch face, and making it impossible to read. The watch hands are so thin you can't see them, you can only see the tips. The glow in the dark pait they used is useless, only faintly visible. I just wasted over $200. I was a dedicated Casio fan, now I am rethinking that. I am skeptical of all the analog models, but this one I know is useless.
