my pathfinder 5000 arrived two days ago.it was a serious task just trying to find one.comments have noted that the owner would have preferred a metal strap to the rubber one provided. most metal straps provided by casio are steel, a magnetic metal.i think this would interfere with the compass function in the watch.I do not know if titanium is magnetic but for many persons it is price prohibitive.i agree with some that if one is not tech minded then one should stay away from this watch.but i love it.i have reviewed the manual on its various functions and have successfully operated them all, except, switching the barometric units from one to the other.i successfully switched the thermometer from celcius to farenheit but just could not get the barometric units to go.but i can live with this becuase the bar. units are where i want them to be (inches of mercury).the watch caught the satellite signal last nite and is in sync (perfectly) with two other satellite watches i have (atomic if you prefer). once again, great watch casio, you outdid yourself.Click Here to see more reviews about: Casio Men's PAW5000-1 Pathfinder Solar Power Blue Dial Watch
