Casio G-shock Mens Watch DW5600E-1DR Review

I highly recommend the G-5600E. It's got World Time (you can set it when you travel), Day/Date, Power Save Mode (turns off when not used/in dark), Auto Light (comes on when you move wrist up to view watch), 5 different alarms you can set, hourly chime (can be turned ON/OFF), Stopwatch, Countdown Timer. Tough Solar means it recharges when exposed to light and the L/M/H indicator shows you the charge level.

This is a watch you can put on and wear every day without worrying about hitting/scratching/getting wet. It's water resistant to about 200 metres so swimming, crossing rivers, rain, showers, etc. are not issues. I got this for my brother who works in the oil and gas industry. He borrowed one of my watches once and returned it the next day with horrible scratches so I figured this is one watch he won't damage or destroy so easily. I looked at the entire range and in terms of bang-for-buck, utility, KISS and all that, this is, IMHO, the best choice.

Absolutely no regrets! Threw it across the room to test it and it works FINE. Wouldn't dare to do that with a mechanical watch!
